About the guest speakers

Dr. Sebastián Del Corral Winder is a Clinical Psychologist and Assistant Professor at LSUHSC in New Orleans. Dr. Del Corral Winder provides services in Spanish and English and primarily works with young children and families involved with the foster care system. Dr. Del Corral is the Director of the Best for Baby program and collaborates with other professionals to improve outcomes for young children involved in the Child Welfare System in Southeastern Louisiana. Dr. Del Corral supervises mental health clinicians in training and is part of several national and regional committees focused on addressing racial and ethnic disparities and equity in the Foster Care System. His research emphasizes ways to decrease health inequities in marginalized families.
